a Nashville-based musician known for his captivating style and unique sound. With velvety vocals, R&B influences, and introspective songwriting, James is a versatile artist, excelling as a singer-songwriter, composer, and topline writer for radio, stage, and TV.

He has released several singles, including the UK Top 5 dance track "Breakout" with Dave Audé. His music has been featured in popular TV shows and films like Marry Me, All-American, Jack Ryan, iZombie, Criminal Minds, and Shameless. James has also contributed his songwriting talents to other artists, DJs, and movies.
As a composer, James has earned acclaim for his work on musicals such as "Chaining Zero" (awarded Best New Musical by Broadway World) and "A Song for What Could Be" (Rhinebeck Writer’s Grant recipient). Collaborating with Justin Halpin as Halpin & James, they created the 10-minute musical "Graduation Day."
In early 2023, Jeffrey signed with Preach Records, releasing his debut under the label, "Retrograde," on June 30th. The song pays nostalgic homage to 90s rock vibes, inspired by artists like Robbie Williams and Stereo MC. Co-written with Jake Ohlbaum and produced by Grammy award-winning producer and prominent DJ from the UK's 90s Rock & Dance scene, Dave Audé, "Retrograde" marks a new sonic direction for Jeffrey.
